Students Representative Council (SRC)
It is a prestigious honor to officially launch a newly created page of SRC to the entire student populace and it’s pertinent and prudent to have a unique recognition among numerous organizations. Having a web page is the most important part of every organization’s brand by creating a significant impact on public perception. Since time memorial SRC as a unique body has no page on its own, but today SRC under the leadership of His Excellency the PRESIDENT has created an official unique PAGE to authenticate the smooth running of the 2020/2021 administration and beyond.
The SRC is an intermediary between management and students and a mouth piece for students in the University College fraternity. It seeks academic, moral and social welfare of students to enhance their settlement into the society. The SRC as an instrument of modern democracy is structured on the national governance system. They are the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary. It has over the years engaged in projects and activities that have brought relief and comfort to students.

2026 Handingover Speech by the 7th SRC President
“Leadership is not measured by the position one holds, but by the lives one touches and the legacy one leaves behind.
As I come to the end of my tenure as president of the Students’ Representative Council of West End University College, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and a deep sense of fulfillment toward the management of this institution and my executives, who were my greatest anchor.
Serving this remarkable institution has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I leave office with cherished memories, invaluable lessons, and an unwavering love for the West End family.
Throughout my administration, the university’s management demonstrated exceptional openness and support. Our relationship was built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to advancing the interests of students and the institution. Every engagement reaffirmed that student leadership is regarded as an important partner in the university’s development. For that, I remain sincerely grateful.
What makes West End University College truly exceptional is its dedication to bridging the gap between academia and industry. Beyond equipping students with academic knowledge, the university intentionally prepares us for the realities of the professional world through practical learning, industry exposure, and opportunities that build confidence, competence, and character. This commitment continues to shape graduates who are ready to make meaningful contributions wherever they find themselves.
My administration’s contribution to improving the rapport between students and the university’s management is one of the achievements I am most proud of from my time here. We remained dedicated to serving as a trustworthy liaison between the student body and the administration, making sure that the issues raised by the students were acknowledged, addressed, and constructively resolved through respectful communication. I am appreciative that this collaborative spirit produced favorable results, and I sincerely hope that subsequent SRC administrations will maintain this positive relationship. The university community as a whole thrives when students and management collaborate with openness, trust, and a common goal.
As I hand over the mantle of leadership, I do so with great optimism. My hope is to see an SRC that continues to grow in strength, innovation, accountability, and service. I hope future leaders will build on the progress we have made, embrace fresh ideas, and continue to place the welfare and aspirations of students at the center of every decision.
Above all, I wish to see the entire West End fraternity rise to even greater heights. I believe the future of our university is incredibly bright, and with the continued commitment of management, staff, students, and alumni, West End University College will continue to distinguish itself as a center of excellence, producing graduates who will make lasting contributions to society.
Though my tenure as SRC president comes to an end, my commitment to West End University College does not. I will always remain a proud ambassador of this great institution, carrying with me the values, experiences, and relationships that have shaped my journey.
To every student who believed in me, to my colleagues in leadership, and to the university’s management for your unwavering support, thank you for making this journey unforgettable. It has truly been a privilege to serve, and I leave with confidence that the best days of West End University College are still ahead.”
