Entry Requirements
■ WASSCE / SSSCE Applicants
Direct entry into Level 100 for West African Senior School Certificate Examination or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination holders.
Core Requirements: Credit passes (A1–C6 in WASSCE / A–D in SSSCE) in three (3) Core subjects—including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies.
Elective Requirements: Credit passes in any three (3) Elective subjects relevant to your chosen field of study.
Aggregate Score: Total aggregate score must not exceed 36 for WASSCE or 24 for SSSCE.
■ Mature Applicants
An alternative entry pathway into Level 100 for individuals looking to return to education.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 years old at the time of application.
Identification: Must provide proof of age with a valid Ghana Card, birth certificate, or passport.
Entrance Examinations: Must pass the WEUC Mature Students’ Entrance Examination, which covers:
Aptitude Test / General Paper
Special Paper (Subject-specific paper tailored to the chosen program)
■ Top-Up Applicants (Diploma / HND Holders)
An accelerated pathway entering directly into Level 200 or Level 300, depending on prior qualifications.
Academic Requirement: A Higher National Diploma (HND), University Diploma, or a recognized professional certificate from an accredited institution.
Classification:
Level 300 Entry: Requires a Second Class Lower division or better in a relevant field.
Level 200 Entry: Applicants with a Third Class or Pass division may be considered for placement at Level 200.
Transcripts: Official academic transcripts from your previous institution must be submitted directly to the Registry.
■ Graduate Studies Admission Requirements
> Academic Qualifications
First Degree Requirement: Applicants must possess a good first degree (at least a Second Class Lower Division or its equivalent) from West End University College or any other recognized, accredited university.
M.Ed. Pathways (1 Year): Open to applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline. Professional teaching experience or an administrative background in an academic sector is an added advantage.
M.Phil. Pathways (2 Years): Designed for individuals looking to pursue rigorous academic research or higher education lecturing. Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and submit a baseline research interest outline.

To be considered for admission, applicants must compile and upload the following credentials to the portal:
Official Transcripts: Complete academic records and official transcripts sent directly from the institution where the undergraduate degree was obtained.
Certificates: Certified true copies of original undergraduate degree certificates.
Letters of Recommendation: Two (2) professional or academic referee reports assessing the applicant’s intellectual capability, character, and readiness for graduate-level work.
Personal Statement / Research Proposal: A concise statement (500–1,000 words) outlining career goals and, for M.Phil. applicants, a preliminary research focus area.
Identification: A copy of a valid national ID card (Ghana Card, Passport, or Voter ID).

Prior to Registration: Payment must be made before a student can select courses or access the online learning management system.
Mid-Semester Threshold: Final clearance of any remaining balance is mandatory prior to the issuance of examination chits.
