On August 21, 2019, the President of WEUC, Prof. Ben Oduro signed a Memorandum of Agreement with University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in Edinburgh, Texas, USA.
The agreement will promote opportunities for both institutions to collaborate on academic programme delivery and research through the exchange of students and faculty. WEUC prides itself in becoming a strategic partner with UTRGV in their quest to become a global university. UTRGV’s other strategic partners in this global drive include world class universities from France, Argentina, India, etc.
This milestone agreement will usher in a diverse array of industry relevant Executive Masters as well as Doctorate Degree Programmes to be run at WEUC with a blend of internationally renowned faculty from UTRGV as well as experts from industry and academia in Ghana. Students will have the opportunity to obtain internationally recognised degrees. Financial aid and sponsorship may be available to students who want to continue their studies abroad.
